Mees Palace Set For Tsemba Wummen U14 And U16 Football League In March
Oluchi tobex Tobe-Chukwu. The much-awaited Tsemba Wummen Youth League has been slated to commence next month in Jos, the Plateau state capital, the organizers of the league confirmed. The league which started in 2019 and was on hold in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, will be taking place for the second time after its inaugural edition two years ago. Mees Palace are the defending Champion for the U13 category since 2019. "Our boys were phenomenal when we won the Tsemba Wummen title in 2019. Over time our boys have acquried basic football techniques and have grown. People should expect even more beautiful football this year in the league". Unlike the 2019 edition which featured only a U13 class, the league will feature U14 and U16 categories for teams within Plateau State and its environs.
