Luxembourg National Division: Jerry Israel Joins Racing FC, Impresses With A Goal & Assists.

Sensational left footed Nigerian player, Jerry Israel is currently making waves after scoring a goal and making two assists for Racing FC Union, in the highest professional football league in Luxembourg.  Jerry, a confident, daring and fleet-footed left-wing forward had his career groomed by grassroot team Chykap International Football Club, Lagos, has shone brightly since joining the side. The gifted forward has played one cup game and two professional league games for Racing FC Union in the last few weeks and has been applauded as an asset to the team in their quest for a title this season. Racing Union FC is based in Southern Luxembourg and was founded in 1907 and are the first official Champions of Luxembourg top flight league, winning the title in 1909/10. The 2023 edition of the Chief Justice of Nigeria Games kicked off in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State on Sunday with over 1500 athletes featuring in 11 sporting events.  Judiciary Sports men and women across the country  gathered together at the Osogbo City Stadium on Saturday for the Opening ceremony of the biggest sporting events in the Nigerian Judiciary system.  Declaring the Competition open, The Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, described sports as a unifying factor. Lagos State Governor, His Excellency, Babajide Sanwoolu has hailed the Sports administrative wand of Sporting Lagos Chairman, Godwin Enakhena. NNL Board Postpones League Kick Off Date

.  The board of Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced the postponement of the kick off date for the 2023/2024 league season to a yet to be announced date. The league originally planned to kick off on Saturday October 28 according to the NNL was postponed to enable clubs conclude registration for the new season. According to a statement by the NNL, the board in   arriving at the decision took into cognizance the inability of teams to meet up with the Wednesday, October, 25  registration deadline because of the economic situation facing the country. "We regret to announce that the 2023/2024 league season originally planned to kick off this Saturday in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital has been postponed to a new date which will be communicated to teams once clubs finishes formalization of registration process. The statement explained that with the latest development, clubs are now advised to conclude their registration on November 3, 2023 noting that once registration is conclu

FIFA Council Member and immediate past President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick on Sunday in his ancestral home, Ode-Itsekiri through BrownHill Foundation donated a FIFA approved Football Pitch to the Community.  The donations, which includes 100 events chairs, five events tents and other facilities were all handed over Erejuwa Grammar School, Ode-Itsekiri as part of the schools Football Academy project.  The event, was attended by some dignitaries, including the Olu of Warri, his Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III and the Mayor of Entebbe Municipal, Uganda, Mr. Fabrice Rulinda, amongst others.  Pinnick, who believes in programs that are beneficial to the overall development and growth of the youths has over the years participated in various activities that has brought positive trend to his community, Delta State and Nigeria as a whole.   Over ten thousand judiciary staff and judges from across Nigeria are expected in Osogbo from the 28th of October for this year's Chief Justice of Nigeria Sports Competition, featuring over 12 events. The Chief Justice Of Nigeria Kayode Ariwoola (GCON) The yearly competition, which is being organised by the National Sports Association for Judiciary (NASAJ) will formally be declared opened on the 28th of October, 2023 by the his Excellency, the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke. The Organisers, National Sports Association for Judiciary (NASAJ) have promised an exciting and fun filled games, having received the full support of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon.
