England-born defender, Pelumi Maxwell has confirmed his desire to play for the Nigeria National U-20 team, the Flying Eagles.  Maxwell, who is the Captain of English Football League One side (EFL), Oxford United FC (U-23) said he has always dreamt of playing for Nigeria, and that is one thing he has always admired even as a kid growing up in England.  Regarded as a promising player, by the English media, Maxwell is mainly known for his speed, energy and offensive capabilities, as well as his technique, dribbling skills, creativity and crossing ability. He plays mainly as a right full back and is compared to Manchester City Portuguese Defender Jao Cancelo. 'I like to express myself and work very hard on and off the pitch. Second Edition Of Boys Brigade Nigeria President's Cup Set To Kick-off In Lagos With 26 Teams.

  Over 25 battalion of the Boys Brigade Nigeria, Lagos State Council Football teams from age bracket of 8- 11 will take part in the second edition of the Boys Brigade Nigeria President's Cup.  The young participants will battle for honours starting from the 19th of March at the Igbobi College, Yaba, Sports Complex, Lagos. Twenty-six teams altogether will participate in the second edition of this competition, which is mainly bourn out to synergies compact relationship among the young Boys Brigade across Lagos State Council and also to discover, harness the hidden football talents possessed by the young Boys' Brigade. Lagos South, Epe, Lagos Mainland, Somolu, Odi-Olowo, Bariga, BB-In-School, Apapa, Ifelodun, Surulere, Coker-Aguda, Ojo, Badagry, Alimosho, Amuwo-Odofin, Agege, Ifako-Jaiye, Kosofe, Ipaja-Ayobo, Agbado Oke-Odo, Ikorodu, Ikeja, Oshodi-Isolo and Mushin.
