All is set for the maiden edition of the Soccer Queens Cup, a women football Competition amongst grassroots teams across the six geo-political area of Nigeria.  The prestigious grassroot Competition will hold from the 7th to the 14th of February 2022 at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja and will feature teams namely, Abruka Queens FC (North Central), Jewel Queens FC (North East), Kaduna Queens Feeders FC (North West), Imo Strikers FC (South East), Fortress Ladies FC (South-South), and Royaltoms Queens (South West).  Speaking on the preparedness for the Competition, the Chairman of the Main Organising Committee, Moses Bako said all the six teams will arrive Lokoja, the Capital of Kogi State on or before Monday, the 7th of February, ahead of opening match which will come up on the 8th. The former KADA City boss who returned to football management this season with the Sky Blues Stars after staying away for about two years, on the advice of his doctor, has concluded plans for another medical trip as he bids for full recovery.
