Beyond Limits has claimed its first Optima Energy Gold Cup after three attempts with a victory over Ijebu United, to claim the bragging rights of the southwest derby final on Saturday at the Remo Stars International Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State. After a superlative performance on his debut for Spanish Side CP Monterhermoso, Nigerian Forward, Frank Worgu netted twice and made a assist as his team whitewashed UD Aceituna on Monday.  Worgu is enjoying a remarkable run since he joined the Spanish Club from Nigerian side, Chykap International Football Club and has noted that he would keep doing his best for his team.  "I am excited about this, because it means so much to me. Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on Thursday in Osogbo, received a member of the victorious D'Tigress Squad to the recently concluded 2023 FIBA Afrobasketball Championship in Kigali, Adenike Olawuyi.  Olawuyi, who is an Osogbo born Basketball player, plys her trade for Hungarian Basketball team, Ratgeber and played a pivotal role in the Nigeria Women's Basketball team success as they won their fourth straight FIBA Afrobasketball Championship.
