Nigeria National U-17 Women's team, Flamingos Head Coach, Bankole Olowookere on Friday, 26th of July 2024 laid his mother to rest at Aaye, Orin-Odo in Ikole Ekiti Local Government Area of Ekiti State . Late Princess Deborah Olugbolaro Olowookere died in May, after a brief illness at the age of 87 and was given a well deserved farewell by her Children and loved ones. With eminent individuals, friends and well-wishers from the Football World in attendance, Bankole Olowookere and his siblings ensured that the matriarch's obsequies remains a much talked-about event for a long time to come . The three-day funeral ceremonies, kick-started with a Christian Wake-keep on Wednesday with loved ones producing spirited eulogies and celebration of 'Mama Onisu' as she was fondly called during her time.
