Betsy Obaseki Football Tournament| Edo Queens Get Nasarawa Amazons Semi-Final Hurdle; Robo To Face Delta Queens.

Edo Queens will face Nasarawa Amazons in the Semi-Final of the ongoing Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament, taking place in Benin-city, Edo State. 


The 'Obaseki Ladies' dominated Heartland Queens in the third Quarter Final match on Monday, played at the University of Benin Sports Complex.


Eunice Godwin scored a hat-trick in the encounter, before Kelechi Orgii' scored an own goal late in the encounter to finally make it 4-0. 


On the other hand, Nasarawa Amazons edged out Naija Ratels in the first game of the day, to set a Semi-Final clash with Edo Queens. 


Naija Ratels came back from two goals down, but failed to capitalize on their ball possession, as diminutive Midfielder Dooshima Tarnum scored the winning goal in the 73rd to put the 'Solid Babes' through to the last four. 


In the other Quarter Finals match of the day held at the Western Boys Football Pitch, Benin. Taiwo Lawal scored twice as FC Robo Queens pummeled Confluence Queens 6-0, to set a date with Delta Queens in the Semi-Final. 


Vera Samuel's 71st Minute Strike was all Delta Queens needed to go past local rival Royal Queens in the last Quarter Final game, played on Monday. 


Favour Ijeje had scored from the spot in the 31st Minute, before Chinansa Agoh leveled up in the 48th minute. 


Semifinal Matches will commence on Wednesday' at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, with Nasarawa Amazons and Edo Queens battling it out by 3pm, while Delta Queens and FC Robo Queens plays by 6pm in the evening.
