CAFWCL| Apreala Confident Bayelsa Queens Will Bounce Back From Sundowns Defeat.

Bayelsa Queens Chairman Pastor Robin Apreala is optimistic that the 'Prosperity' Ladies will bounce back from Monday's disappointing defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.

Bayelsa Queens dominated the game in the first twenty minutes, but failed to convert numerous chances, before the South African Ladies took advantage to score the first goal before half time.

Apreala who hailed the team's performance despite losing, said he is confident the team will do better and come out victorious in their next two games.

"Our performance on Monday wasn't so good, we missed a lot of goal scoring chances early on and that is very key in games like this. We now have to do better and come out with a strong mentality in our next two games.

"It is very important that we do not disappoint our fans back at home. We have learnt one or two things from the first game and the Technical Crew are working tirelessly to make things work out just the way we want."

Lelona Daweti scored twice for Sundowns, while Mary-Magdalene Anjor halves th deficit, off an assist from the boots of Flourish Sabastine.

Bayelsa Queens will look to bounce back against TP Mazembe who beat Egyptian side Wadi Degla 1-0 in their opening game of the tournament
