CAFWCL| Apreala Hails Team's Spirit As Prosperity Girls Cruise Into Semi-Final.

Bayelsa Queens Chairman, Pastor Robin Apreala has hailed his players character after the Nigerian Champions defeated their Egyptian Counterpart in their last group game by 3-0. 

Midfielder Mercy Itimi scored twice in the 48th and 53rd minute, after Forward Juliet Sunday had opened scoring early in the 8th minute. 

Apreala who stated categorically that his team has what it takes to become Champions, but tasked his players to take the game as they come, starting with the Semi-Final Clash, against ASFAR Ladies of Morocco. 

"We have all what it takes to become Champions," The Soft-spoken Football Administrator said. 


"I want to hail the players character and commitment towards the team success. They worked real hard on the pitch and gave their all. 

"Alot is expected from them, the Government has done everything to ensure that we get it right in Morocco. The Technical Crew and everyone involved are doing a great job to see us progress to the final and become eventual winners.

"We are positive and would take the games as they come. We believe in ourselves and want the best for the team as a whole." He concluded


Bayelsa Queens will face Group A Leaders ASFAR Ladies of Morroco in Wednesday in the second Semi-final of the 2022 CAF Women Champions League.
