CAFWCL| We Will Do Better Next Time; Apreala Thanks Governor Diri, Others For Massive Support

Bayelsa Queens Chairman, Pastor Robin Apreala has expressed appreciation to Governor Douye Diri and others for the massive support they gave to the team at the just concluded CAF Women Champions League in Morocco. 

Bayelsa Queens on Saturday, in the third place match, defeated their Tanzanian Counterpart Simba Queens 1-0 to win bronze in their first appearance at the tournament. 

The soft-spoken Football Administrator, went further to praise his players, Technical Crew and everyone involved in the success of the team.

"For us, it was a great experience. We worked so hard from day one and now we have something to celebrate. 

"We know we deserve to play in the final and win the tournament, but football is something you can't predict.

"Every match was a learning process for the Technical Crew, Players and myself. Nigeria will do better in the next edition, hopefully, Bayelsa Queens will win the league and represent Nigeria next year. 

"Special thanks to God almighty, all our fans, His Excellency, Governor Douye Diri, The Deputy Governor, Senator Ewhrudjakpo Lawrence, the Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Daniel Igali, the NFF, Aisha Falode and many others who stood by us during this journey.
