Eminent Nigerians On Sunday Graced The 60th Birthday Thanksgiving Service In Honour Of Renowned Sports Journalist And Administrator, Aisha Falode. 


The NFF Executive Committee Member Rounded Up Her Diamond Jubilee Milestone With A Special Thanksgiving At The RCCG Redeemers House Parish, Lagos On Sunday.

Top Amongst the Guests were Wife Of The Former Governor Of Oyo State, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, Former Assistant General Manager Of Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), Ms Nana Asmau Yakubu, Woman In Politics Advocate, Chief Mrs Genny Adeosun and Pastor in charge of RCCG Redeemers House Parish, Lagos, Pastor Lanre Akinyo.



The Former CAF Media Committee Member has over the years played a significant role in the development of Women's Football in Nigeria, Africa and beyond and was well celebrated by Colleagues, Family members, and well-wishers all over the world when she reached the Diamond age on December 2nd 2022.

It was a festival of football, unity, and youthful excellence on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, as the curtain fell on the much-celebrated Edo Governor’s Cup 2025. The finals, held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, drew a capacity crowd of students, teachers, sports lovers, and top government officials, all gathered to witness the climax of a tournament that had, over several weeks, captivated the entire state. Gov. Okpebolo Rewards Edo Governors Cup Champions With Brand-New Buses

 Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebolo rewarded the champions of the 2025 Edo Governors Cup with brand-new Toyota Hiace buses. In an electrifying finale held on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, Ogbe Secondary School stamped their authority in the male category, defeating St. Peter's Grammar School, Agenebode 3-0. Goals from Osifo Believe, Idor Samuel, and Izregba Ogijo secured a convincing victory and crowned them champions. In the female category, Idia College proved their class with a 2-0 win over St. Angela Grammar School. Strikes from Umoru Fatima and Enoduwenben Favour ensured the girls lifted the coveted trophy.
