Lagos FA Vice Chairman To School Participants At 2023 FUBF Day
Haji Gafar Liameed, President of 36 Lion and Vice Chairman Lagos State Football Association (LAFA) is expected to school participants on the global bast practice as regards grassroot football at the 2023 FUBF (Family United By Football) Day billed for Saturday at the VIP Arena of the Osogbo Township Stadium in Osun State.
FUBF, is one of the largest sports WhatsApp Group in Nigeria, that has established itself as a dynamic community, bringing together sports enthusiasts, professionals, and key stakeholders from both Osun State and Nigeria.
The 2023 edition of the FUBF Day will see the 36 Lion President speak on the interesting topic- 'Safeguarding Grassroots Players, Opportunities And Challenges'.
According to the FUBF Group Admin, Tunde Shamsudeen, "The lecture topic was chosen based on the challenges facing the beautiful game at the grassroot and its main actors.
"No other astute Football Administrator and Football Business Manager of repute in Nigeria can dwell much on the top than Hajji Gafar, as grassroot football is evolving and players at the receiving end negatively.
"Gafar's success with 36 Lion, grassroot football, players development and management can not be overlooked,so Osun football being a fast growing one, the need to have this caliber of resource person talk to all stakeholders of football in the state."
Top VIP guest expected are - General Manager Osun State Sports Council Rotimi Dunmoye, Chairman Osun State Football Association, Sola Fanawopo, ex international Ademola Adeshina, Chairman Osun United Akin Maxwell, Team Manager Osun United Kabiru Adekunle, among other top stakeholders in the state.
