The Value Of Synthetic Turf Pitch - Alansmith CEO, Joshua Adamu Hints On Advantages

The Chief Operating Officer of Alansmith Nigeria Limited, Joshua Adamu has given insight on the value of Synthetic Turf and why it is necessary to use, nothing but quality materials during operations.

The FIFA and CAF certified synthetic pitch installation firm has been in operation for years and is one of the leading pitch installation company in Nigeria and beyond.

Speaking to journalists on Family United by Football (FUBF) on Sunday, the charismatic Sports Facility Expert stressed the importance of synthetic turf in football environment.

"The longevity of a synthetic pitch cannot be over emphasized. A FIFA certified pitch, should last up to five to seven years, depending on how it is used." He said.

"Synthetic pitches lasts longer and are easier to maintain.

"The culture or ways of cutting corners but people know who the experts and professionals are but will want to use just anybody to fix an artificial turf stadium for government or state and blame it on turf or installers when you obviously know the experts but you don't patronize them.

"It happens most when you know the right things to do but you want to cut cost.

"Our major challenge is uncertified people in the business, compromise in pricing, in materials and these are done with people at the helms of affairs.

"They know the right things but they compromise because they know who the person the job is giving to," he said.
