 Bayelsa Queens Defender Glory Edet has shown alot of excitement after being included in the 2022 CAF Women Champions League team of the tournament.  The African Football Governing body officially announced the 2022 CAFWCL Best XI on Sunday and Glory Edet was the only Bayelsa Queens player to make the cut.  The list includes Six ASFAR Ladies of Morocco players, Three Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies Players, One each from Bayelsa Queens and Simba Queens FC in a 4-3-3 formation. U.S Soccer Appoints Nigerian-American Micheal Nsien As U-16 Men's National Team Coach.

The U.S Soccer has appointed Michael Nsien as the new Head Coach of the U.S U-16 Men's National Team.  Nsien played professional football with LA Galaxy, Portland Timbers before immediately beginning his coaching career. Bayelsa Queens Defender Rihanat Kasali has hailed her teammates, management and technical Crew of the 'Prosperity Ladies' after winning bronze at the just concluded CAF Women Champions League in Morocco. The former Royal Queens Defence Marshall revealed that she and her teammates had set their sights on winning the tournament, but are content to settle for bronze.  The Prosperity Ladies defeated Simba Queens FC of Tanzania on Saturday to settle for third position, just behind Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies and Champions ASFAR Ladies.  "We really wanted to win the trophy, we wanted to be Champions, but sometimes, results don't come bye.  "Looking at how much energy we put in every game and how we play, I think we deserve more.  "The bronze is special to us and we are happy about that. Falode Applauds Bayelsa Queens, Task Clubs To Embrace Licensing Regulations.

Nigeria Football Federation Executive Committee member, Aisha Falode, on Monday applauded the CAF Champions League 2022 bronze medalists, Bayelsa Queens of Yenagoa, for their doggedness and resilience in the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League in Morocco, as they emerged third place finishers after first becoming the WAFU champions. Falode, commended the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, and the Deputy Governor, Ewhrudjakpo Lawrence Oborawharievwo, for their positive investment made on the Prosperity Girls, such that the team emerged the third best in the African continent. Nigerian International Rofiat Sule has most certainly found her sharpness in front of goal as she scored a hat-trick against Sambenedettese Femminile on Sunday evening.
